The first option always goes to the existing owner to renew the contract with the SAME fighter. In the case of GSP, the owner has become inactive, so GSP is available. In this case, there is no order of preference. If you finish your 3rd fight and he is available (and no one has picked him yet), you can switch to him immediately. If a newcomer signs on before that and GSP is available then he gets him. Same thing just happened with Rampage Jackson and Frank Mir, so good fighters will continue to open up weekly.... | |
