Yes he is, he is dropping Gonzaga after this fight so I went ahead and let someone snag him. Your fight is still on

| Yeah, I posted the result here first but deleted the post to move it to the RESULTS page. Well, my camera is going crazy right now, only happens when there's something great on the disc. I hope it goes fine, the screen as been showing "recovering data" for 10 minutes now... gepeto777 is a TOP PLAYER, man he dominated me all fight long. Only the counter takedowns saved me: I waited for his stepping punch and SHOOT! Surprise takedown. I don't know how I survived his relentless clinch attacks, punch up down pause up up knee down down WOW! I was sure to get KO right there. I managed to survive and land some good shots, but all the stand up was Franklin while the ground phase was never long enough to inflict real damage. I got a couple of reversals but he did too! Then in the 4th, I wouldn't say he got careless: I think he was overconfident because he clinched me and attempted a BIG Slam. That's what I have been waiting for ALL fight long!!! I didn't miss the reversal (I rarely miss) and knew I would lock the sub in the 4th, even if his stamina was higher than mine. Obviously, I was right! Great fight, I was sure to lose untill I saw the Slam animation. I'll guote Stewie here: "Victory is mine!" | |

| Sub's are tactical and well planned, lol. No aggression there. You just sink it and wait for them to humiliate theirselves | |

| Congratulations Underworld! And sure subs are tactical, it's just that sometimes it's not your tactic, like in this one, and you just see the opening and you capitalize on it. | |

You're right, but it WAS in my tactic: I waited for the Slam all fight long, but he kept clinching me with the single collar tie instead. He never grappled my punch and he was good enough to set up is single collar with combos. I couldn't prevent it because he was unpredictable: I think he landed 50 punches from the clinch in the fight! When he got the underhooks, I was hoping he would perform a "normal slam": a reversal would bring me to Full Mount and I was confident to finish the fight there. But he attempted a BIG Slam instead. Fatal mistake. As soon as he got the double underhooks, I KNEW he would attempt a Slam: my stamina was very low and he was confident enough to bring me down to the ground. Remember, he avoided the ground until then, getting up after reversing me and getting dominant position. Yet, he decided to bring me down even if he knew my ground game was my strongest tool. I can reverse slams very fast (anybody who fought me knows my timing on reversals is killer) and as soon as I saw the animation, I didn't even check my stamina and his stamina: I KNEW I would win the second he attempted the Slam. And so I did. 50% luck, 50% tactic in my book.

| How come it seems like the MW division always takes the longest to complete their fights ?? The entire lightweight and welterweight divisions are done competing and most of the LHW and HW fights have been done already but there a bunch of MW guys not done. C'mon MW's step up and finish those fights !! | |

Yes, I fought K-Flo. I was the Old Danzig. I fought last Sunday ending my contract and switched to stevenson with Blazin switching to Silva. You came in and signed up and you're fighting Fisher as you're the new Danzig.

^^^Did gepeto777 tell you that? Read my description again: yes, he dominated the standing exchanges, but that doesn't mean he beat me up for 3 rounds: I got the first round 50% sure: the 3 replays were for me, I landed a BIG shot from the guard, 2 takedowns and landed a nice 3-hit combo. He did most of his damage from the clinch, no BIG shot, no knockdowns, only damage. 10-9 for me IMO. He got the second round 100% sure by landing at least 20 punches from the clinch. Again, I got a couple of takedowns but not enough to win the round. We're at 19-19 In the third, he single collar clinched me and landed some punches again but I managed to get on the ground for half the round. i got the Full Mount, wore him down, engaged an armbar, LOCKED it and the bell rang 2 seconds before I extend the arm. I think he got the round nevertheless, I remember him knocking me down with a stepping jab. 28-29 Franklin. The 4th was close: again he single collar clinched me but I managed to survive (I don't know how). Then, he gets the double underhooks, tries a Slam and BANG. Flash sub FTW. Now, you can call that a total domination for Franklin if you want. What I see is a close fight where Franklin managed to inflict more damage but got careless by attempting a Slam. We'll never know how the fight would have gone without the Flash Sub. Let's say I get the 4th and he gets the 5th. That's a 48-47 decision for Franklin in the end. Total domination indeed. Don't forget, the judges are MORE impressed by big shots, knockdowns and rocking the opponent. Damage is relevant only if you don't get damaged too much yourself. And the replays between the rounds pretty much tell you who the judges got as a winner, in my experience. Yes, I struggled my way to victory. In the end, I won, he lost. Nothing he says and nothing I say will change the result. Almeida by way of guillotine choke, that's what the fight report says.
